Loxson offers a lift column designed to work with collaborative robots, bundled as a plug-and-play system called LIFTKIT-TM. The system includes a lift column with a mounting interface for the robot, a controller, and a software plugin for the robot. Motion can be directly programmed through the collaborative robot's controller.
Solution Description
- Collaborative robots are commonly used for palletizing. However, once the stacking reaches a certain height, the robot itself can hit its operational limits. An easy-to-assemble lift column enables vertical movement, extending the robot’s operating range. During the palletizing process, the robot base can be raised or lowered, allowing it to stay in the optimal working position throughout.
- Moreover, with a set of simple commands, the lift column can be connected to nearly any type of collaborative robot, enabling the creation of a dedicated program to perform the lifting functions.
