The global AI boom has led to a sharp increase in AI server rack production. These high-value, tall, and narrow AI racks contain delicate components, making them prone to tipping during transit and requiring precise, stable strapping tension to ensure stability and protection.
Traditionally, pallet strapping was performed manually. Operators were required to reach over tall racks and bend down to thread straps through pallet void. As production volumes increased and lead times became tighter, manual strapping could no longer keep pace with upstream manufacturing, creating a significant bottleneck in the production process.
